Building and Maintaining Effective Teams
Team players know that in business and in life, if you aren’t part of “us,” then you are simply an observer. In this course, participants learn how to be team players and contributors to solutions. Attendees will learn the roles, goals, processes, and relationships involved in establishing and maintaining effective teams.

“Building and Maintaining Effective Teams” addresses the following:

  • Stages of Team Development--forming, storming, norming, and performing stages
  • Characteristics of Good Team Building
  • Team Decision Making and Problem Solving
  • Handling Conflict Within a Team
  • Meeting Management for Teams
  • Game Plan–developing goals to activate and reinforce the training

Recommended course length: One to three days.


Supervisory Skills
To equitably and effectively supervise others, one must have leadership skills, excellent communication, patience, and confidence. This course provides attendees with the training they need to be excellent supervisors. 

“Supervisory Skills” addresses the following:

  • Effective Interpersonal Communication–maintaining a dialogue with employees
  • Giving and Receiving Feedback–using two-way communication to provide constructive feedback and encourage proactive behavior
  • Internal Customer Service–identifying the critical nature of internal customer service
  • Leadership Skills–understanding the leadership roles and how to effectively use these roles to maximize performance
  • Diversity–understanding, being sensitive to, and reaping the benefits of workplace diversity
  • Game Plan–developing goals to activate and reinforce the training

Recommended course length: One to three days.


Managing Change With Creativity and Smart Decision Making
Today’s rapidly changing work environment requires special skills and a new way of thinking. To survive and thrive, you need to know how to adapt to change and how to make the most of it using creative thinking and smart decision making. This fast-paced, fun, and interactive course will teach you how to think and act proactively. 

“Managing Change With Creativity and Smart Decision Making” addresses the following:

  • Typical Reactions to Change—and, specifically, how you respond to change
  • The Dynamics and Stages of Organizational Change
  • Strategies for Proactively Dealing with Change
  • Creative Problem Solving Strategies
  • Smart Decision-Making Models
  • Defining and Solving Problems: Five questions for analyzing problems and the eight-step process for solving problems
  • Idea-Generating Techniques
  • Game Plan–developing goals to activate and reinforce the training
